Homestead Permaculture Design

 PERMACULTURE DESIGN

HOMESTEADS AND FARMS
We design regenerative  homesteads and farms through  nature based solutions and integrated hydrological management, following the permaculture methodology.
We create sustainable and productive ecosystems, both in urban and rural environments
WHAT DOES PERMACULTURE DESIGN INCLUDE?
1- We design a well-planned, mature and unique project for each terrain.

2-In order to achieve an optimal integration of design in the surrounding environment and in the lives of our clients; we make a preliminary analysis and evaluation of the terrain which takes into account both the requirements of the property as well as the biophysical characteristics, the potential vegetation, the elements present on the farm and the determining legal factors. (see our method)

3- Because we know that the Water management is a critical point, we include in our designs water collection systems, strategies for the retention and passive infiltration of rainwater and runoff, as well as strategies for reducing consumption and optimizing the use of available water.

4- The soil fertility is essential to achieve the development of healthy and productive ecosystems. To do this, we include in our designs strategies and techniques to improve the soil structure and enhance the soil food web. We incorporate the natural cycle of decomposition of organic matter as a resource to increase fertility and system health. We work with nature.

5- We include the biodiversity, both in flora and fauna, as an essential element for regenerative development. We deliver a complete and detailed list of the species to be introduced as well as diagrams and infographics detailing the interaction of the various components of each system.

6- We increase the natural capital as a result of a deeply thoughtful design in which water management strategies are combined with techniques to increase soil fertility and biodiversity.

6- Our designs are the guide on which to work in the different stages of the project and its objective is to give continuity and homogeneity to the design in the cases in which the implementation is going to be carried out in stages, as it is conditioned by the availability of resources and time.
